1. Data controller

2. Information we process

Our server may process technical request data such as IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer, browser or device information and security events. If you contact us, we process the name, email address, topic, message and any other information you choose to provide.

Please do not send sensitive personal data unless it is genuinely necessary for your request.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process technical data to operate, secure and diagnose the website and to establish or defend legal claims where necessary. We process contact information to respond to your request and manage the relationship arising from it.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, these activities rely on legitimate interests, steps requested before entering an agreement, performance of an agreement, legal obligations or consent.

4. Google Analytics and Google Ads

UrbanVerdict uses Google Analytics to understand website use and improve content. We also use a Google Ads tag to measure advertising performance. These Google services may process online identifiers, device and browser data, approximate location derived from IP address, page interactions and campaign information, and may use cookies or similar technologies.

Google may process data on our behalf or for its own stated purposes under its applicable terms. You can learn about Google’s data practices and controls through Google’s Privacy & Terms pages and Google’s advertising settings.

The site currently loads these measurement tags while our certified consent-management platform integration is being completed. Where applicable law requires consent for a particular storage or processing activity, we intend to implement the required consent controls and honour available browser or platform signals.

5. Google AdSense

The website is technically prepared to use Google AdSense, but AdSense advertising is disabled at launch. Before enabling it for users where required, we plan to configure a Google-certified consent-management platform. If enabled, AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure and personalise advertising in accordance with the user’s choices and Google’s policies.

6. Recipients and international transfers

Data may be processed by hosting, security, analytics, advertising and communication providers acting under their own terms or as processors. Google services may involve processing outside Poland or the European Economic Area, using transfer mechanisms described by Google.

We do not sell contact-form submissions to third parties.

7. Retention

Server logs are kept only as long as reasonably needed for operations, security and legal purposes. Contact messages are retained for the time needed to answer, maintain appropriate business records and resolve potential disputes. Analytics retention is managed through the relevant Google service settings.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal data, object to processing, withdraw consent and receive portable data. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish data-protection authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

To exercise a right, contact us and provide enough detail to identify the relevant interaction. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing personal data.

9. Your choices

You can limit cookies through browser controls, use Google’s advertising settings or available opt-out tools, and avoid submitting the contact form by using the protected email address. Blocking certain technologies may affect measurement but should not prevent access to the editorial content.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when services, legal requirements or data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest published version. Material changes will be presented appropriately on the website.
